Join Us!To join the League of Women Voters - Cuyahoga Area please complete
the LWV-CA We need you on our side as we continue to promote positive solutions to public policy issues through community education and advocacy and building greater, broad-based citizen participation in the democratic process. When you join the League of Women Voters you join other citizens in encouraging active participation in government, better informed voters and responsible political campaigns. League membership will help you become better informed, provide the opportunity to develop leadership skills, give you the opportunity to make a difference and improve the quality of life in your community. Membership is open to all citizens 18 years of age or older. We welcome all levels of commitment. Because of its varied activities League has jobs ranging from those that require only a few hours such as registering voters or serving on a committee, to being in charge of a single activity, or becoming an officer or board member. When you join the League of Women Voters-Cuyahoga Area you may at the same time affiliate with one or more of our active Local Chapters. These are located in Cleveland Heights/University Heights, Lakewood, Bay Village, Rocky River, Fairview Park, the Hillcrest Area and Westlake/North Olmsted. If you do not wish to affiliate with a local chaper you are considered a member at large. All members gain automatic membership in the LWV of Ohio and LWV of the United States and will receive publications from both of these groups.
