Presidential Election Year (2008, 2012, 2016, etc.)

  • President/Vice President of the United States
  • U.S. Senator (if term expires)
  • Congressional Representatives
  • State Senators (even-numbered districts
  • State Representatives
  • State Board of Education (1/3 of members)
  • Two State Supreme Court Justices

Off-Years (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2017, etc.)

  • Most municipal officials
  • Some township officials
  • Members of local boards of education

State Election Year (2010, 2014, 2018, etc.)

  • U.S. Senator (if term expires)
  • Congressional Representatives
  • Governor/Lieutenant Governor
  • Secretary of State
  • State Treasurer
  • State Auditor
  • Attorney General
  • State Senators (Odd-numbered districts)
