Citizen Checklist for Elections

REGISTER One month prior to an election
VERIFY your registration. Even if you have registered before!
EDUCATE yourself about the issues
DECIDE how you are going to vote before you get to the polls
VERIFY YOUR POLLING LOCATION if you have moved or are unsure of where to go
VOTE EARLY to avoid long lines by absentee ballot or by going to your local Board of Elections
TAKE YOUR IDENTIFICATION to the polls
ASK FOR A PROVISIONAL BALLOT if you have a problem voting
